Associated Therapies, Inc. is a pediatric therapy practice founded in 1995 by Janet Hendrix, an occupational therapist, and Barbara Martin, a physical therapist. Since Janet’s untimely death on January 15, 2007, Barbara has continued to manage the practice.
Experience
The practice includes more than forty PTs, OTs and Speech-Language Pathologists. Many of our therapists have at least five years experience in pediatric therapy and advanced training in a variety of therapy techniques. All providers are licensed by the State of Georgia and have a thorough background check.
Barbara Martin obtained her physical therapy degree from Georgia State University in 1979. Prior to beginning Associated Therapies, she worked in school systems, outpatient clinics, and with private clients.
Humera Savaja MSOTR, joined Barbara as a partner in November 2009. She received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University 2006 and has worked in private clinics.
